John Millet, CPA

John has been by Steve’s side for the past 12 years acting as President of his sister company, Bouchey and Clarke Benefits until it sold on December 31, 2021.  He then joined Bouchey Financial Group as Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer and Vice President.

John has over 30 years’ experience in the financial sector including leadership positions in insurance, banking, and consulting firms and will also act as a Wealth Advisor working with clients managing their wealth and planning their future, especially clients who have businesses and need that additional help.

John is a graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (’87) in Troy, New York with a B.S. in management with concentrations in management systems and accounting. John is also a Certified Public Accountant and studying to be a Certified Financial Planner ™.

Before his time at Bouchey & Clarke Benefits, John previously served as President of Berkshire Insurance Group, Inc., a subsidiary of Berkshire Bank. John’s professional career began with Urbach, Kahn & Werlin PC, CPAs in Albany, New York where he was audit and accounting manager. He later joined Jackson Consulting in Jersey City, New Jersey as a litigation consulting manager.

John recently was Chair of the Rensselaer Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and previously served on the Board of the Adirondack Chamber of Commerce, and the Troy YMCA Board.
