Opening of Ronald McDonald Family Retreat at Krantz Cottage

Bouchey Financial Group recently had the privilege of supporting the opening of the new Ronald McDonald Family Retreat at Krantz Cottage. This is the first Ronald McDonald house in the Lake George, New York area. Its vision is to become a resource for families experiencing serious childhood illnesses to make lasting memories in a remarkably peaceful and safe setting. The house will serve up to 19 families at a time for stays as long as five days.

Dr. David Jacobesen, CEO of RMHC-CR shared, “We have long recognized the need for families with very sick children to be able to get away from their daily struggles and enjoy special times together. The opening of the Ronald McDonald Family Retreat at Krantz Cottage is truly a dream come true, allowing us to meet that need and create one-of-a-kind experiences for our guest families. After years of planning, many months of hard work, and an amazing outpouring of generosity from this community, we could not be happier to open the very first Ronald McDonald Family Retreat here in beautiful Lake George.”
