Bouchey Financial Group has been included in Financial Advisor magazine’s ranking of RIAs for 2013.

Bouchey Financial Group was included in Financial Advisor magazine’s national ranking of Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs). This was the first year for Bouchey Financial Group to be included on the list and they were the only firm from the Albany Capital Region to be in the ranking. They were also ranked in the top quartile of firms on the list for percentage growth in assets under management in 2012.

The RIA space has seen significant growth of the past 10-15 years with advisors taking on a fiduciary role with their clients, meaning the client’s interests come first. This approach resonates very strongly with individuals, families and businesses looking for financial guidance. Charles Schwab, one of the nation’s largest brokerage firms, has initiated a public relations program designed to educated investors on the benefit of working with a RIA (www.riastandsforyou.com). The program highlights the value of working with a Registered Investment Advisor and it includes insightful interviews with advisors who started RIA firms. As is reflected in this year’s RIA ranking data, the fact that the Registered Investment Advisor model promotes an environment of trust and collaboration, it has allowed many of the firms to experience considerable growth at the expense of the large wirehouses and national banks.

Steven Bouchey, President and CEO of Bouchey Financial Group stated, “Our firm has been an RIA for almost 20 years and the fiduciary role we take with our clients is paramount to everything we do in our business. We are very pleased to be included in Financial Advisor magazine’s national ranking of RIA firms.”
