In Memory of Nicole Gobel

Nicole A. Gobel, CPA, CDFA®

Nicole joined Bouchey Financial Group as a Wealth Advisor and relocated her family to the capital region in 2021. She brought with her over 20 years of experience in financial services, including 12 years as a client advisor with a registered investment advisory firm in the New York/New Jersey region. At our firm Nicole worked with clients on their financial planning, investment management and tax planning needs.

She began her professional career at Bloomberg, LP working with institutional clients primarily in the Mid-Atlantic region but after 10 years pivoted toward personal financial planning, taxes and investment management. As a Certified Public Accountant, Nicole ensures that tax planning is taken into consideration when making any investment decisions.

Nicole had an MS in Accounting from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a BS in Business Administration with a minor in Economics from The College of New Jersey. She has been involved in a number of Women & Wealth initiatives and actively participated on the Planning Committee for the Women’s Division of the New Jersey Financial Planning Association. Nicole was also named a 2021 Five Star Wealth Manager in New Jersey.

Outside of her professional life Nicole enjoyed spending time with her family outdoors and had a love of hiking. She believed strongly in financial literacy and became involved in area organizations to give back to her new community.

Nicole passed away on January 22, 2025.
