In Loving Memory | A Foundational Part of Our Story

Susan “Sue” Bouchey was more than a member of our team, she was part of the very foundation on which Bouchey Financial Group was built.

From the earliest days of the firm, Sue stood beside Steve with unwavering belief, courage, and support. When BFG was just an idea filled with uncertainty, Sue helped make it a reality. With Lauren only nine months old, she embraced the risk, the sacrifices, and the unknown, always believing in what this firm could become.

Over the years, Sue worked with BFG in many capacities, stepping in wherever she was needed. She played a meaningful role in client events, firm gatherings, and behind-the-scenes efforts that helped create the warm, personal culture our clients and colleagues cherish today. If you attended a BFG event, chances are Sue was there,  welcoming, connecting, and making people feel at home.

Sue had a gift for bringing people together. Her presence added heart and authenticity to everything we did. She believed deeply in relationships, in family, and in creating experiences that made others feel valued and cared for.

Her impact on BFG goes far beyond titles or roles, it lives on in the spirit of our firm, in the way we treat one another, and in the importance, we place on community and connection.

Sue is deeply missed by all who knew her, and her legacy continues to inspire us every day.

A Personal Note from Steve

I miss Sue terribly. Not a day goes by that I don’t think of her and pray for her. She believed in me, in our family, and in this firm long before anyone else did. Everything we’ve built carries a piece of her with it, and I will always be grateful for the love, strength, and faith she gave to all of us.
