As President and CEO, Steve is responsible for working with individuals, families and businesses on their financial planning and investment management as well as providing the strategic direction for the firm and leading the firm’s investment committee. Steve has helped manage clients’ wealth since 1986 and is a well-known speaker and often quoted media source on current topics in the investment field. Steve has been acting as a fiduciary on behalf of his clients since 1993, long before most, and is committed to investing in both technology and human capital at his firm to provide the absolute best service for clients as possible.

Steve earned his Associates Degree in Accounting from Hudson Valley Community College and attended Siena College. Steve achieved his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification from The College of Financial Planning, Denver Colorado in 1990. He has actively pursued his education ever since, participating in professional study programs and completing advanced courses in the investment and financial planning field.

Steve volunteers considerable time to the community and has served on the following community oriented boards: Seton Health Board of Trustees (now St. Peters Health Partners), Past Chairman of Seton Health Foundation; Former Vice President for the Albany Symphony Orchestra’s Board of Directors, Board of Directors for Rensselaer County Regional Chamber of Commerce, board member of the Diocese of Albany Foundation Advisory Committee, Living Resources, Board of Directors and Professional Advisory Committee of the Community of the Greater Capital Region. Steve has also served on the Board of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) both locally and as an advisor nationally.
